Let’s talk about vegging out for a day. By now we’re all aware of the meatless Monday trend, but why participate? What are the benefits? Well……If everyone went vegetarian for one day a week, the U.S. would save 100 billion gallons of water. BILLIONS guys. The U.S. would also save 70 million gallons of gas which is enough to fuel Canada and Mexico combined. 7,700 square feet of rain forest would be spared, not to mention the health benefits for you too. A flexitarian diet can possibly reduce risk of heart disease, certain types of cancer, and diabetes.
The old stigma is that healthy food tastes bad, but by now we all know that’s not true. The pictures posted are vegetarian breakfast, lunch, and dinner recipes from Naturallyella.com…easy, healthy, delicious, and helpful to mama Earth. Yes please.
